You have many things to do and to repent of.

Your sins are not pardoned, because you seek to counsel in your own ways.

Your hearts are not satisfied....

Wo unto you rich men, that will not give your substance to the poor, for your riches canker your souls.

Wo unto you poor men, whose hearts are not broken, whose spirits are not contrite, and whose bellies are not satisfied, and whose hands are not stayed from laying hold upon other men's goods, whose eyes are full of greediness, and who will not labor with your own hands! (D&C 56:14-17)

Reading this makes me realize how wonderful the law of consecration will be, when it is lived perfectly.

v.18 Blessed are the poor who are pure in heart.....they shall rejoice when Christ comes. Their generations will inherit the earth. I just realized what a great promise this is. The poor, the meek, will inherit the earth. What an inheritance for a poor person!!
